I've lived on the Sunshine Coast for about 30 years, in Halfmoon Bay, Gibsons and Sechelt, and I've been helping people buy and sell homes here since 2017.
Most of my clients are first-time buyers, people moving to the Coast, and homeowners selling to make their next move.
My job is to tell you what the market, the property and the trade-offs actually say, and what I think. Then it's your call.

Real estate isn't my first career. I've coached skiing and taught snowboarding. I owned my own clothing store. I've managed construction service and new construction, run projects, worked in retail and, at one point, managed a corner store.
The thread through all of it is people. Every one of those jobs came down to listening to what someone actually needed and then getting it done.
I've always gone looking for the next challenge. I like growth and change, and real estate gives me both, and more.
Some of that history shows up in the work. Time in construction means I look at how a house has been built and looked after, not just how it's staged. And project management turns out to be most of what happens between an accepted offer and the day you get your keys.
I'd rather be your advisor than your salesperson. I'll tell you what I think and why, and when I think you might be overlooking something. Then you decide.
Sometimes the right move is to act quickly. Sometimes it's to take a breath and look again. Either way, there's no artificial urgency and no hard sell.
Is this a good fit?
I'm the agent you want if you like to hear the reality, talk through your options, and decide on an approach you're comfortable with. I'll give you straight answers and my honest opinion.
I negotiate hard, and I negotiate honestly. I don't play games or bend the truth to get a deal done. I treat everyone at the table with respect, and I ask the same of my clients. If that's not how you like to do business, I'm probably not the agent for you.

I'm a homebody at heart. Home is two big dogs, trails out the back and a beach close by. In the growing season I'm in the garden with the vegetables, or making herbal tinctures. In winter I'm on the ski hill.
Yoga keeps me steady, and books and films fill the rest. I'm an '80s kid, which explains a lot of my movie picks.
After about 30 years here, I know how the Coast lives in every season. That's a big part of helping you figure out where you'll actually be happy.
